Thanks. I tend to lay the original shot over the top and remove areas from the layer where I want the HDR to appear more pronounced.

Does adding more exposures make the HDR smoother?

With regards to making it smoother, I set the stops apart by either a 3rd or half stop apart.

IE -1.5,-1,-.5,0,+.5,+1,+1.5

I do find that having smaller increments smoother as opposed to setting them at full stops apart. Also if you need to drop an exposure or two you have more control over it.

And I'm pleased you like the shot.
